On October 2, 2007, United Way, Hands on Coastal Georgia hosted A Day of Caring throughout the state of Georgia. United Way is a non-profit organization that helps other non-profit organizations in our community. Volunteers from around the Glynn County area devoted their time to spending a day with the animals. It was such a great time! The animals really enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to next year. The Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia would also like to extend a special thank you to all of the individuals from FLETC that helped contribute to the food and toy drive. Your efforts have helped us immensely!
